On Wednesday morning a small crowd gathered to honor our Nation’s veterans for the annual Rome Veterans Day Service that took place in the Shanklin-Attaway American Legion Post on Shorter Avenue.
The service included the laying wreaths in honor of US Army Private Charles Graves, known as the Soldier of the Tomb of the Known Soldier.
*WRGA News would like to take this time to also thank and honor all of our Nation’s Veterans on this Veterans Day. Thank you for your service!
