FLOYD COUNTY JAIL RECORDS

A Cartersville man has been jailed on charges of child molestation and sexual battery.

According to jail records, 49-year old William Herbert Wooten was transferred from the Spalding County Jail in Griffin to Floyd County on Friday to face the local charges.

The alleged crimes involve a minor under 16 that occurred in Lindale back on September 25.
