FLOYD COUNTY JAIL RECORDS

A 28-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a domestic incident Monday morning that caused a “soft” lockdown at Model Elementary, Model Middle, and Model High Schools.

According to Floyd County Jail records, Tyler Joshua Locklear threatened to shoot a woman if she picked up her kids.

This resulted in the schools being locked down as a precaution for the safety of all students.

The report states that Locklear is banned from all Floyd County Schools.

Locklear is charged with terroristic threats and acts, transmitting a false public alarm, and disruption of a public school.
