Authorities continue to search for a fourth man indicted recently on murder charges in connection with a shooting in North Rome back on May 21, 2021.
23-year old Marquivias Shabron Nicholson was also indicted on charges of participation in criminal street gang activity, aggravated assault, and battery by a Floyd County Grand Jury on Friday.
Nicholson, 20-year-old Justin Antonio Glynn, 20-year-old Malachai Alexander Williams, and 18-year-old Corey Lashun Chatman Jr. are accused in the shooting death of Derricus Smith on Perkins Street.
Glynn, Williams, and Chatman are already in custody.
Anyone with information on Nicholson’s whereabouts is encouraged to call the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office warrants clerk, Monday through Friday from 8 am until 5 pm at 706-236-2466. You can also call 911 anytime or submit tips through the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office app.
