Etowah Valley Humane Society — Bandit
(770) 383-3338

(770) 383-3338
Bandit is a charming and intelligent boy who is currently waiting for his forever family. Bandit’s main interests include playing fetch, getting cuddles and brushes, and playing with kids! Bandit really wants to show his future family just how good of a boy he is. Bandit is a bit shy in regards to men, but warms up quickly with some TLC!
At one and a half years old, Bandit is growing up to be a proper young gentleman. When given the chance, he loves to look after any youngsters running around following behind them to make sure they’re safe and having fun. Though his gentle side seems to shine with the kiddos, he has an energetic side when playing with his older caretakers. Bandit is currently in doggy training school, where he’s learning a
few tricks in order to impress any potential adopters! If you’d like to learn more about Bandit and our other great homeless pets, please visit the EVHS website. Visitation is by appointment only with an approved application on file. The application may be submitted from our website.

Barkville Dog Rescue — Anna
(770) 846-8946
Anna is an absolutely adorable pittie mix, born on 11-2-21, weighing 55lbs. She could likely gain another ~15lbs. Anna was severely emaciated when she came to BarkVille Dog Rescue, and had been living on the streets. She has come a long way in her foster home, and is reportedly just the sweetest girl! Anna loves everyone she meets – people and dogs of all sizes! She loves kids but still has puppy playfulness, so older kids would be best.
Anna recently completed professional training with Rucker Dog Training, and comes with lifetime advanced sessions. She has excellent leash manners and knows all her basic commands. Anna is still working on her house training, but with consistent potty breaks she does great. This girl is food motivated and is very easy to train! She is spayed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. For more information about Anna, please email us, or please submit an application for her.

Rome-Floyd Humane Society –— Morty
(706) 234-7979
Hi, I’m Morty. I am kind of on the older side, they think I am about 7 of your human years, and I weigh about 20 pounds; a lot of people just walk right past my kennel looking for a puppy. But I still have lots of love to give, I am just waiting for the right people to come along and be my furr-ever family. It’s going to happen soon, I am certain of it, and maybe it’s you I have been waiting for. Please come by and see me, we could become best friends I feel.
I have had all of my vaccinations, I am neutered, and at my age I am fully grown, and all of my vet visits are out of the way. Come see me so we can play and get to know each other. Shelter hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Fridays from 11:30 am to 4 pm. See you soon!!!

Murry County Animal Shelter — Copper
(706) 695-8003

(706) 695-8003
Copper is a handsome young Redbone coonhound mix. He is a young pup, less than a year old. He was the subject of several calls for welfare checks, but unfortunately he ended being dumped on a rural road instead of having his living conditions corrected. Copper deserves at a better furr-ever life, and despite his rough start in life Copper has superb manners, is dog and people friendly, and he’s a complete social butterfly. Copper is neutered, current on vaccines and Heartworm negative.
Copper is ready to go, to give it another try, and is hoping to be your best friend. Come meet me, the shelter hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m to 4:00 pm. Please call for information on Copper or any of the loving pets up for adoption with the Murray County Animal Shelter, located at 571 Highway 52 in Chatsworth.

P*A*W*S of Rome and Floyd County — Tessa
(706) 236-4537
Hi there, my name is Tessa. I am a sweet young American Medium hair, and I am eager to meet you and become your best friend. I am 13 months old, and I have been here in the shelter most of my life.
I have been around other cats here, but its probably best if I meet any possible siblings before a final decision is made. I don’t know anything about those doggie things, it’s probably not a great idea, at least not at first. I would like to meet some human kids before I decide about them.
I am neutered, up-to-date on my vaccinations and vet visits and I am just waiting to meet you. Come see me during shelter hours, Monday. Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 11:30 a.m to 4:00 p.m. The shelter address is 99 North Ave, Rome. Hope to se you there soon!

Angels Among Us Rescue — Brayden
(877) 404-5874

(404) 201-0799
Braydan is putting his best nose forward to find his people! This sweet boy recently turned 4 years old. Braydan is a Hound/English pointer mix and about 60 pounds. His favorite thing is to spend time with his friends. He enjoys taking walks with them and he’s also happy just to hang out.
Although he is a hound dog, he isn’t super vocal. But who doesn’t love a good aroooooo? A quieter, calm environment would be ideal for him, so little human-free is best. He has super soft ears and loves a good ear rub. He also loves treats! He prefers the ladies so if you’re looking for a pup that “nose” how to be a gal’s best friend, look no further.
Submit a foster or adoption application for Braydan through the Angels website or call 770-835-5844 to speak to someone about adopting or fostering.
