Woman accused of stealing water service
A 35-year-old Rome woman has been arrested on a felony warrant charging her with theft of services.
According to the warrant:
Tiara Necole Mims obtained service from the City of Rome Water Department by avoiding the water meter to her Avenue D residence between April last year and February of this year.
The cost to repair the water meter and the estimated cost of the water that was stolen are listed at $2,094.90.
Teen charged with entering an auto
A West Rome teenager is accused of stealing a wallet from a vehicle on Agnes Street on September 11, 2023.
According to the arrest warrant:
The wallet contained $200 in cash.
18-year-old Thomas Eugene Franks Jr. is charged with a felony count of entering an automobile.
