Man charged with felony obstruction of officers, public indecency
A 39-year-old Rome man was arrested over the weekend after allegedly walking around an apartment complex on Chateau Drive with his underwear down and then fighting with police officers.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
Michael Lee Ingle fled from police and then resisted arrest, kicking an officer in the chest at least twice.
Ingle is charged with felony and misdemeanor obstruction, simple battery on a law enforcement officer, and public indecency.
Man charged with trafficking meth
A Rome man has been arrested on a felony warrant charging him with trafficking methamphetamine.
According to the warrant:
More than 28 grams of methamphetamine was found in 44-year-old Jeremy Charles Fisher’s bedroom on Trove Drive during the execution of a search warrant on February 10.
Fisher is also charged with possession of meth, possession with the intent to distribute, and possession of drug-related objects.
Report: Woman tried to hit man with a piece of wood
A 45-year-old Rome woman is facing charges of simple assault and possession of cocaine following her arrest Sunday at her residence on Burnett Street.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
Candince Tonisha Watley swung a piece of wood at a man in an attempt to injure him.
After being placed under arrest, she was found with a small baggie of suspected crack cocaine.
