Drex is a handsome 7yr old Rottweiler looking for his forever family! This big boy weighs 90lbs but is all love! He’s crate trained, house trained, and has good leash manners. Drex knows all his basic commands, is dog friendly, and loves everyone he meets. Due to his large size, he’d do best in a home with no small kids. He has a medium energy level, and enjoys playing and spending time with his people. Drex loves to go on car rides, and is an overall well behaved sweet boy!

Stuffing is a big boy with an even bigger heart. He might seem a bit shy at first, but that’s just because he’s taking it all in. Being outside is where he feels most at peace. The wind in his fur, the sun on his back, it’s all so calming for this gentle guy. If you have treats, he will gladly learn new tricks. Stuffing is quite the charmer. Once he gets to know you, he will show his affection by gently placing his paw on your arm. Life in the shelter has been a bit overwhelming for me, but volunteers are hopeful there’s a kind soul out there who is willing to give this special guy a loving home. Miley weighs around 20 pounds and Kiley weighs around 5-6 pounds! They are dog friendly and kid friendly! They love to sunbathe in a fenced in yard and are mostly potty trained! These sweet girls are so deserving of a home together where someone can love them forever.

Angels Among Us Pet Rescue — Bluey Blue

Bluey Blue is a handsome 15-week old boxer mix with unique features and an outgoing, friendly personality that truly makes him extra special. This healthy boy has the most precious set of matching sock feet and a left eye the same color as a vivid blue sky on a summer’s day. His sturdy frame may be a bit more compact than a typical boxer but he’s every bit as playful and upbeat as any dog lover could hope to find. He adores all humans and dogs big and small, and his temperament is perfectly suited for a home with children. With so much love to give, he does have a high need for companionship and will definitely require another dog in the home along with an attentive owner who will be patient and help build his confidence.
His foster mommy says he’s very bright and is nearly potty trained and that with just a bit more work and consistency, he will be accident free in no time. Although Bluey Blue is still a young pup, he has already decided what he likes best: playtime, snuggles, kisses and lots of attention. As a social guy, he forms attachments and doesn’t like to be left alone in his crate. Right now, he barks and vocalizes when crated but will stop when corrected. This will of course improve with more training and positive reinforcement as he matures, but in the meantime, he is not an ideal dog for apartment or condo living.
At the end of each day, after he’s exhausted his puppy energy, Bluey Blue looks most forward to bedtime, preferably in close proximity to a fur companion and his humans, where he can shut his eyes feeling secure and loved. Don’t let the natural grumpy face scare you!! Finch is just mad that they aren’t adopted yet! Finch is an adorable lil tabby kitten that is playful at times and cuddlebug at others. Perhaps like the namesake, this Finch will be an excellent singer (just like mama!)
She loves to swat the toy springs and balls around the room so she can run after them. She’s adventurous and likes to explore the closet when the door is opened to get the broom out to clean up the room.”

This week’s pup is Hoagie. Hoagie is approximately 1.5 years old and is currently staying with his foster parents in the Atlanta area. Hoagie was saved from euthanasia from Clayton County Animal Shelter. Hoagie likes to play with other dogs, but is dog selective. He doesn’t seem to mind cats but does sometimes get excited when seeing one.
He’s a bit of a silly guy at times. He also loves to be a couch potato and chill with his human. Hoagie is completely vetted. He would make a great addition to anyone’s home.
