Meet Protego, a sweet 9 month old puppy who has spent 200 days at our shelter. Atless than 40 pounds she is the perfect sized pup. She walks well on leash and knows the command sit. She is a shy girl, so will need someone who will give her time to open up. She is good with other dogs and loves to play outside. During Bissell’s Empty the Shelters her adoption fee is $0 until May 15.
We will be participating in Bissell Pet Foundation’s Empty the Shelters May 1-15 with reduced adoption fees.

Malachi is a gorgeous and friendly Spaniel/ Retriever mix in urgent need of a foster or adopter to get him out of boarding! This sweet boy is estimated to be around 1.5yr old and weighs 32lbs. He’s crate trained, is working on house training, and has good leash manners. Malachi has a medium energy level and loves to play! He is dog friendly, and would enjoy having a fenced yard and another friendly and playful pup in a foster or forever home.
Malachi was saved from the euthanasia list at an overcrowded shelter, and we would love to see him in a home where he can thrive! Meet Daisy, the charming 3-year-and-6-month-old brown and grey pug mix, tipping the scales at a delightful 22 pounds; she is on a weight loss plan here and should lose about 5 pounds to be an ideal weight. Her ideal home would have a fenced-in yard since she does like to run. She will wiggle out of a leash so she must have a properly fitted harness. With a curious spirit and a playful demeanor, she approaches life with endless wonder and enthusiasm.

Thankfully a foster stepped up at the last minute and I was able to break free. I was so scared in there. I would bark at people just because I didn’t know who was going to be nice, and who was going to be mean to me. I’m great now though! I love my fosters parents, but I know they are here to help me find my forever home. Anyways, I’m dog friendly, don’t know about kitties, and seem to be good around kids! I love doing zoomies in the backyard, and playing ball with my foster daddy.

The special thing about me is that the Dr says I have a heart valve that’s too small. It doesn’t cause me any issues right now – I run and play like all the other pups. It might grow to normal as I grow up. Or I might need medicine when I get older. My foster mom can explain all that.

Have you heard of a Siberian Boston?! One of these pups was adopted and they had a DNA test done. The results came back as Siberian Husky/Boston Terrier mix! Meet Clover. These babies seem to get their short stature from the Boston side. However, Clover has some stocky lil legs that must come from his husky blood. Clover is a rough and tumble boy that likes to wrestle, much to his siblings chagrine. He’s the ring leader of the crew and can pull out his Siberian vocals to call them to order. He loves to wrestle and does his best to convince them wrestling is good fun too.
He’s got the cutest lil solid black face. We’re stumped on why these lil short stacks haven’t been snatched up. They are young, small, and soooo stinkin’ cute! They’ve only grown an inch or two since coming so they should stay on the smaller side, but will have some stockiness to them so they aren’t delicate. Jude is a handsome boy who was just two weeks old when Paw Prints rescued him, two siblings and his momma. They had contracted a virus that is usually fatal in unvaccinated kittens with no immunity. With lots of care, Jude, his sister and mom all survived. Now this guy is ready to find a home. Jude is a purr machine. He loves to run, chase spring toys and jump for feather toys. He will crawl on your lap and place his paw on your cheek and stare at you with his stunning blue eyes. Due to his exposure to the virus, he needs a prescription diet to help with his digestive system.
