Woman accused of injuring man’s eye

A Rome woman was arrested late last week on a felony aggravated battery charge.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

56-year-old Mary Lou White threw a weighted object which it a man in the face around his left eye causing lacerations.

The incident occurred at a home on Calhoun Road on Thursday.

Man charged with aggravated stalking, simple battery

A 56-year-old Rome man was recently arrested at his Beverly Drive home after he allegedly punched another man in violation of a temporary protective order.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

The TPO stipulated that Darren Gregory Case have no contact with the victim.

Case is charged with felony aggravated stalking and a misdemeanor count of simple battery.
