-Floyd County Board of Elections and Registration-

The Floyd County Board of Elections and Registration has voted to relocate the South Floyd Polling place.

The polling location will move from the VFW Post on Cedartown Highway to the Lakeview Building at Georgia Highlands College.

The relocation came at the request of Gene Parker, Quartermaster of VFW 4911.

Additionally, the Board felt this was the safest course of action in consideration of events that occurred during and after the June Run-off election.
