In the early morning hours on Thursday, August 22, 2024, Cartersville Police Officers responded to a reported armed robbery at the Citgo Service Station, 1204 West Avenue.
Arriving officers determined a black male, wearing a mask, gloves, and hoodie produced a handgun, demanded money, and fled in a light-colored passenger car.
Cartersville Investigators tracked the vehicle used in the robbery to an apartment complex in Dallas, GA later in the morning. With the assistance of the Dallas Police Department, Mabery Ron Wilmore was taken into custody leaving the apartment complex.
Investigators learned Mr. Wilmore was accompanied by Tyrane Roshaun Hudson during the robbery. Cartersville Investigators, along with members of the Bartow-Cartersville Drug Task Force subsequently apprehended Mr. Hudson at a residence on Sharps Way, Cartersville.
Mabry Willmore has been charged with Armed Robbery and Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony and Tryan Hudson has been charged with Armed Robbery, Trafficking in Fentanyl and Methamphetamine.
Both subjects were lodged at the Bartow County Jail, pending a bond hearing.
