Rome Police are investigating the apparent theft of a taxidermied male lion from the welcome center at Shorter University.
According to the incident report:
No one thought anything about the lion not being in its original spot back in June due to construction work that was going on and things were being moved around.
However, during an inventory of the building earlier this week they realized the lion, valued at $4,500, was indeed missing.
