A traffic stop in North Rome ended with the arrest of a Centre, Alabama man on drug charges Monday.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

Officers stopped a vehicle driven by 24-year-old Patrick La’Don Steen Jr. on North Broad Street near Russell Street for driving without headlights on.

Following a positive K9 indication, the vehicle was searched, and cocaine, psilocybin mushrooms, marijuana, and a 9mm pistol were seized.

Steen is charged with possession of cocaine, possession of a Schedule I controlled substance, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, and a headlight violation.
