For the second time in a week, a winning lottery ticket is sold in Rome.
One of three $10,000 tickets in the Dec. 10, 2024, Mega Millions drawing was sold at Kroger located at 1476 Turner McCall Blvd.
The other tickets were sold on the Georgia Lottery website and in Ellabell, Georgia.
The winning numbers for the Dec. 6 drawing were:
12-14-26-48-52
The Mega Ball was and the 21 and the Mega Plier was 5x.
On Dec. 3, a $10,000 ticket was sold at Elm Food & Beverage at 204 North Elm St.
The next Mega Millions drawing is scheduled for Friday, Dec. 13, with an estimated jackpot of $670 million—the eighth largest in the game’s history.
Notably, the last time a Mega Millions jackpot was won on Friday the 13th was on Jan. 13, 2023, when a player in Maine won a $1.348 billion prize.
Mega Millions winners in Georgia have 180 days from the draw date to claim prizes. As with all other Georgia Lottery games, proceeds from Mega Millions benefit education in the state of Georgia.
