Warrant: Woman has THC vape in school safety zone
A Rome woman is accused of possessing THC while at Armuchee Elementary School.
According to an arrest warrant and Floyd County Jail records:
25-year old Naomi Leann Nolan had a vape pen, endangering the safety of an entire pre-K classroom.
The report stated that a 4-year-old had access to the pen.
Nolan is charged with misdemeanor counts of possession of a THC vape product in a school safety zone and reckless conduct.
Man charged with meth possession
An East Rome man is facing drug charges following his arrest on Cave Spring Road at Darlington Drive Wednesday.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
36-year old William Brandon Heath Brisco was found with suspected methamphetamine during a search as authorities were serving a warrant.
He is charged with possession of methamphetamine and failure to appear in court.
Sex offender accused of failing to notify authorities of move
A homeless man has been arrested on a felony warrant charging him with violating Georgia’s Sex Offender Registry law.
According to the warrant:
58-year old Cecil Eugene Colley Jr. failed to notify the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office within 72 hours of moving from his residence on Ireland Drive in Kingston to an unknown location in June of 2024.
Colley is also charged with a couple of probation violations.
