A 52-year-old Rome man was arrested on Wednesday at his Glen View Drive home on charges of terroristic threats and acts, and exploitation or intimidation of the elderly.

According to Floyd County Jail records and an arrest warrant:

Following a verbal altercation with a 78-year-old man, Christopher Lance Casteel returned to the victim’s residence and left a note in the mailbox, which read, “I’m gonna end this tomorrow! Old dead man!”

The note placed the victim in fear for his life.
