Residents of Northwest Georgia seeking medical care can have confidence that they have access to some of the highest-rated care in the nation.
AdventHealth Redmond and AdventHealth Murray have been recognized in Forbes’ inaugural Top Hospitals in America 2026 list, released last week. Both hospitals earned an overall 5‑star rating, distinguishing them as two of only three Georgia hospitals to achieve this top honor, out of eleven hospitals statewide that made the national list. This highlights the exceptional level of care, efficiency, patient experience, and outcomes provided by both hospitals.
Created in conjunction with health care technology and analytics firm Invalon, and guided by a panel of clinicians, researchers, and patient advocates, Forbes’ groundbreaking hospital rankings identified 2,500 hospitals that met strict inclusion criteria based on quality measures spanning four key pillars: outcomes, best practices, value, and patient experience. Ultimately, only 253 hospitals nationwide received an overall 5‑star rating.

This announcement comes on the heels of the recent news of AdventHealth Redmond achieving an ‘A’ by Leapfrog Inc., an independent watchdog that provides comprehensive safety ratings for hospitals.
