Man accused of stealing $5K from vape shop
A South Rome man has been arrested on warrants charging him with felony and misdemeanor theft by taking.
According to the warrants:
47-year-old Isaiah Lee Alford took approximately $5,000 in cash from the safe at Cloud Chaser Vape and Smoke on Turner McCall Boulevard back on April 24 of last year.
He also took $700 in cash and 95 oxycodone pills from a man as he slept on Frost Drive on January 27, 2025.
Man accused of shoplifting at two different businesses
A 38-year-old Lindale man is facing felony and misdemeanor shoplifting charges.
According to the arrest warrants:
Tommy Michael Shaun Thornton took more than $500 in Nike shoes from Academy Sports on Shorter Avenue on December 6.
He also took a pair of Justin boots valued at $195 from Tractor Supply in West Rome on September 15.
