President Donald Trump addressed affordability and the economy during a stop in Rome on Thursday.
The president made remarks to a crowd of supporters at Coosa Steel Corporation on Darlington Drive.
Demonstrators lined Turner McCall Boulevard and East First Street as Trump made a quick visit to the Varsity.
This was Trump’s Third visit to Rome.
In 2020, while a sitting president, he made a campaign appearance at the Richard B. Russell Regional Airport.
Then, in 2024, as a candidate, he held a rally at the Forum River Center.
