Man charged with trafficking, selling meth
Felony drug charges have been filed against a 41-year-old East Rome man.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
Brian Collin McKinney sold over an ounce of methamphetamine to a cooperating witness on four occasions late last year.
He also sold 12 grams of meth on November 15, 2025, to a co-conspirator, and that transaction was caught on surveillance equipment.
McKinney is charged with four counts of trafficking meth, five counts of the sale of meth, five counts of possession of meth and possession with the intent to distribute, and one count of conspiracy to violate Georgia’s Controlled Substances Act.
Woman charged with terroristic threats, damage to property
A West Rome woman was arrested at her Burnett Ferry Road home after allegedly making threats.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
33-year-old Christy Daniell Alexander also struck the victim and caused over $1,000 in damage to the victim’s vehicle.
She is charged with two counts of terroristic threats and acts, 2nd-degree criminal damage to property, and simple battery.
Man charged with 1st-degree criminal damage to property
A Coosa man is facing a 1st-degree criminal damage to property charge following his arrest on Tuesday.
According to Floyd County jail records:
41-year-old Michael Hudley caused over $500 in damage to property on Fairhaven Drive.
Man charged with forgery
A Hiram man was arrested on East Second Avenue on Tuesday and charged with 3rd-degree forgery.
According to Floyd County jail records:
49-year-old Charles Ira Bush was in possession of a $20,000 check written on the account of the victim without permission.
Bush is additionally charged with possession of drugs not in the original container for having pills in an unlabeled bottle.
