The execution of a search warrant at a residence on Holly Street back on February 18 has resulted in the arrest of a Rome woman on drug charges.
According to an arrest warrant and Floyd County Jail records:
Rome-Floyd Metro Task Force officers located a metal pot containing cocaine, which was hidden in the HVAC return duct.
A THC vape, a misdemeanor amount of marijuana, and drug-related objects were also seized.
A check of utility bills revealed that 39-year-old Shatis Denae Ragland lived at the address.
She is charged with possession of cocaine, possession of a Schedule I controlled substance, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and possession of drug-related objects.
