Scheduled nighttime lane closures as part of the Second Avenue improvement project have been canceled.
According to the Georgia Department of Transportation, the periodic lane closures planned for between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. until Friday were canceled due to low temperatures in the forecast for the rest of this week.
