Update: The Rome Police Department reported no injuries in the accident.
Previously reported: Rome Police and the Rome-Floyd Fire Department responded to a two-vehicle crash Friday afternoon on Redmond Circle near Paris Lane, temporarily closing the roadway across all lanes.
The accident, which involved a silver Toyota Camry and a white Honda Odyssey, also brought down a power line prompting Georgia Power to be called to the area to repair the damage.
A detour was set up at Lavender Drive until the power line and vehicles could be removed from the roadway.
