A West Rome woman was arrested in a wreck on Saturday that resulted in a vehicle coming to rest at the Red Lobster on Shorter Avenue.
According to a Rome Police Department report:
21-year-old Neysa Selena Diaz Perez was traveling eastbound on Shorter in a Nissan Murano, and turned in front of a 2009 Mazda S.
The impact caused Diaz Perez to lose control of her Murano, which then struck a support post in front of the restaurant.
Diaz Perez is charged with DUI, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, and failure to yield while turning left.
Two passengers in the Mazda were transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
The driver of the Mazda and Diaz Perez complained of injuries but refused transport.
