Thursday afternoon the City of Rome and Rome Floyd Chamber held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new disc golf course at the Kingfisher Trail Head.
Located near the railroad tracks at East 4th Street, the Kingfisher Disc Golf Course features 9 holes designed by the Prodigy Disc Company and is free to the public.
The course also features scenic views of the Etowah River from the Bob Moore Bridge.
