The Rome City Commission will conduct public hearings and vote on four recommendations from the planning commission when they meet Monday.
Those include a request by residents of the Darlington Mobile Home Village on McHenry Drive off Cave Spring Road to be annexed by the City of Rome, and the rezoning of property on Technology Parkway near Mathis Drive to Light Industrial.
The commission will also consider a request from Trinity United Methodist Church to rezone its property on West Fifth Avenue from Office Institutional to Urban Mixed Use and a special use permit for duplexes on Harper Avenue.
Commissioners will also discuss a property swap for the North Broad Youth Center during the regular meeting which begins at 6:30 p.m.
During the 5 p.m. caucus, the commission will get an update on naming rights for the ECO Greenway Trails. A review committee has selected a proposal from AdventHealth Redmond.
