The City of Rome and AdventHealth Redmond are partnering with United Military Care Inc. to host the 2025 We Care Veterans’ Fair tomorrow, August 19th, at the Forum River Center in Downtown Rome.
This free event is open to Veterans of all ages, along with their families and caregivers.
More than 100 local, state, and federal agencies will be on site to provide essential assistance and support.
The fair offers help with:
- VA benefits and claims
- Social Security and disability applications
- Housing resources
- Employment opportunities
Veterans are encouraged to bring the following, if available:
- Military service documentation
- VA claim paperwork
- Legal documents (if applicable)
- Current resumes (for job opportunities)
The event runs from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The We Care Veterans’ Fair was created in response to the challenges Veterans often face when navigating benefits and services.
