Friday is the last day for early voting in Georgia’s Primary Runoff Election.
You can vote early at the Floyd County Elections Center on East 12th Street from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m.
If you don’t vote by 6 p.m. on Friday, you will have to wait and cast your ballot on Tuesday at your polling place.
On the Republican Ballot, for U.S. Senate, Mike Collins and Derek Dooley are squaring off, with the winner taking on incumbent Democrat Jon Ossoff in November.
And for Governor, Rick Jackson and Burt Jones are fighting for the chance to take on Democrat Keisha Lance Bottoms in the General Election.
In other contests
For Lt. Governor, Republicans Greg Dolezal and John F. Kennedy are in a runoff, as are Democrats Josh McLaurin and Nabilah Parkes.
For Secretary of State, the runoff contests are between Tim Fleming and Vernon Jones on the Republican ballot, and Dana Barrett and Penny Brown Reynolds on the Democratic ballot.
For State School Superintendent, incumbent Richard Woods is in a runoff with Fred “Bubba” Longgrear. The winner will face Democrat Lydia Powell.
For Commissioner of Insurance, Democrats DeAndre Mathis and Keisha Sean Waites are running for the chance to face incumbent Republican John King.
For Labor Commissioner, either Democrat Nikki Porcher or Democrat Michelle Michi Sanchez will take on incumbent Republican Bárbara Rivera Holmes in the General Election.
