The Floyd County Police Department will be set up this Friday (July 18th, 2025) in the parking lot of AdventHealth Stadium, home of the Rome Emperors, offering free car seat inspections from 1 PM to 3 PM.
FCPD Captain, Ron Hunton, shared on First News with Doug Walker that the event is aimed at helping parents ensure their car seats are properly installed and the right fit for their child.
Officers will be on hand to check seat installations, answer questions, and give advice regarding car seats.
The event is open to the public and provided as a free safety service.
