-News Release-
Give your child the chance to get moving, build confidence, and make lifelong memories with Rome-Floyd Parks and Recreation’s exciting lineup of fall sports! Whether it’s tackle football, flag football, cheerleading, volleyball, baseball, softball, or t-ball, there is something for every young athlete, and now is the perfect time to sign up.
Registration is open now. Regular registration fees are currently in effect and will remain in effect from July 13 through August 9. After that, a last-chance registration period, with increased fees, will run from August 10 to August 14. All registration for fall sports officially closes on August 14, 2026. For pricing details on each sport, visit www.rfpra.com/sports.
Signing up is quick and easy. Parents can visit our offices at 1 Shorter Avenue during office hours, Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Parents may register their child online by going to www.rfpra.com and clicking the “Register” button. Birth certificates are required for participation in the programs.
However, the fun does not stop with the kids. We are also on the lookout for energetic and enthusiastic volunteer coaches and officials for football, cheerleading, baseball, softball, and t-ball. It is a great way to get involved, give back to the community, and support youth development. If you are interested, reach out to Blake Lambert at Blake.Lambert@floydcountyga.org.
