-Rome Police Department report-

The Rome Police Department is investigating a reported case of vandalism at a home on Glenrise Terrace.
According to the report:
The owner of the home, which is undergoing renovations, told officers that the residence had been “laid to waste.”
There was a large, gaping hole in the ceiling, and insulation had been strewn about in the main sitting room.
Kitchen cabinets were torn from the walls, and four interior doors had been removed from their hinges and destroyed.
In addition, a commode was shattered.
A neighbor claimed he saw three “scoundrels”—likely juveniles—with flashlights who were loitering in the area last Saturday.
