The two final suspects in a shooting at Banty Jones Park on June 19 are now in custody.
26-year old Tevian Markez Williams Sr. and 23-year old Timothy Morris Williams Jr., both of a Lumber Street address, were booked into the Floyd County Jail Tuesday on charges of aggravated assault.
The third suspect, 19-year old Tylan Dwight McCluskey had previously turned himself in.
According to Rome Police, 28-year old Calvin Harris of Rome was shot in the head while at the park on East 13th Street.
His wound was not critical and he was treated and released from the hospital.
Timothy Williams, who was arrested at a residence on Avenue B, was additionally charged with possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, possession of drug-related objects and a probation violation.
Five other people were arrested at the same address during the execution of a search warrant, mostly on drug charges.
26-year old Delane Mercedes Johnson of Rockmart, along with 20-year old Jamal Malik Dublin, 22-year old B’Lyssia Jonea Ware, 26-year old Dione Lavarius Wade, and 27-year old Dorian Dontae Johnson all of Rome are charged with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute and possession of drug-related objects.
Wade was also charged with possession of clonazepam and ecstasy, possession of drugs not in the original container, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Johnson was additionally charged with possession of ecstasy, possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute, and possession of drugs past the guard line at the jail.
The report states that Johnson was seen chewing on something while at the jail and was told to spit it out. It was a baggie containing ecstasy pills.
