STAFF REPORTS
Today is day two of the 71st annual Coosa Valley Fair.
According to Coosa Fair President Mike Elliott, there is something for everyone.
“From a flower show to the building that has all the art and photography,” he said. “We also have the community building where people bring in all of the projects they have done, like pottery and etc., and of course we have all the fair rides.”
Elliott said there are several special attractions this year.
“We have chainsaw woodcarver that does a great job,” he added. “We also have a Cirque du Soleil coming in and they have a motorcycle in a cage. They also have a contortionist and they have two gentlemen on a balancing beam, which is very difficult to do.
Also tonight, the Little Miss Coosa Valley Fair Pageants begin at 7 p.m.
