A relatively light agenda awaits the Rome City Commission when it meets Monday.

The meeting has been moved up a week due to city offices being closed next Monday for Veteran’s Day.

Agenda items include First Reading of a rezoning request for property on Riverside Parkway.

The owner is seeking a rezoning from Office Institutional to Community Commercial.

Commissioners will also hear a report from the city attorney.

During the pre-meeting caucus which begins at 5:45 p.m., the commission will hear from the city attorney in a private session.

The regular commission meeting begins at 6:30 p.m.
