We are just days away from the 2019 Rome-Floyd Chamber of Commerce Business Expo at the Forum River Center.
It begins with a Business After Hours event for chamber members on Thursday from 5:30 until 7 p.m.
Then it opens to the general public on Friday from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.
Larry Alford with ServiceMaster says it an opportunity for area residents to learn more about the goods and services officered right here in Rome and Floyd County.
“There is everything from service businesses to restaurants to people who sell goods,” he said. “There are also lawn care companies and funeral homes, just a huge variety of local business owners.”
Of course, there will be plenty of giveaways.
“Most of the booths will be giving something away,” Alford said. “I know we are giving a carpet cleaning and other things away.
Tickets are $3 in advance and can be purchased at romega.com.
Tickets will be $5 at the door.
