Staff Report –

An investigation is underway by the Georgia State Patrol for hit and run death of a teenager.

The victim has been identified as 18-year-old Emory Ware of Calhoun, Georgia. The hit and run happened Sunday around 1:30 near Maddox Chapel Road.

According to police, the vehicle that fled the scene of the crash is possibly a Buick model vehicle, with possible damage to the front of the vehicle.
