A 20-year old Rome woman has been jailed on a felony warrant charging her with aggravated assault.

According to the warrant, Misty Dawn Carroll stabbed a woman with a kitchen knife during an altercation back on November 25.

The incident occurred at Carroll’s Dodd Boulevard apartment.

The victim sustained a one inch long, one and a quarter-inch deep puncture wound a few inches below her left armpit.

Carroll turned herself in at the Floyd County Jail early Monday morning.
