FLOYD COUNTY JAIL RECORDS

A Rome man was booked into the Floyd County Jail Thursday on charges of criminal attempt to commit child molestation, obscene internet contact with a child and use of a computer service to entice a child to commit an illegal act.

According to jail records, 34-year old Christopher Ryan Allen of a Callier Springs Road address made contact with someone he believed to be under the age of 16 on a mobile app.

He engaged in a graphic conversation and traveled to an agreed upon location with the intent to engage in sex acts.
