A four vehicle accident occurred in the area of US 27 at Walker Mountain Road on Thursday afternoon.

Floyd County Police rerouted heavy South-Bound traffic as in the area as EMS arrived on the scene.

According to 9-11 dispatch there were 3 patients transported to the hospital via emergency traffic to be treated for injuries.

The possible injuries included neck and back pain, as well as a possible laceration on the arm.
