FLOYD COUNTY JAIL RECORDS
A 37-year old Rome man has been arrested on multiple charges including theft by taking, entering an auto, criminal trespass, and aggravated assault.
According to Floyd County Jail records, Eugene Stonner Ashley cut through two perimeter fences to gain access to a business on Rockmart Road.
He then stole various motor vehicle parts on four different occasions.
Ashley was confronted by a woman asking what he was doing there.
He fled the scene, striking the woman’s knee with his vehicle and running over her foot.
Those incidents occurred back in April.
At the time of his arrest on Wednesday, Ashley resisted, then gave a false name, and was found with suspected methamphetamine.
