A Rome man has been arrested on felony warrants charging him with theft by taking.

According to the warrants, 37-year old Christopher Dewayne Bailey stole various tools, a hydraulic rod driver, and rolls of copper wire, valued at more than $7,000 back in March.

He then took $8,500 in various items in April.

Those items included cooper wire mechanical jumpers, hot cutters, and blanket tubes for linesman mats.
