Four arrested in Silver Creek on drug charges

Rome Floyd-Metro Task Force officers executed search warrants at two residences in Silver Creek Tuesday afternoon and early Wednesday morning and arrested four people on drug charges.

According to Floyd County Jail records, 47-year-old Michael Lee Sargent Sr. was in possession of a quantity of heroin which he passed to a cooperating witness.

More than an ounce of fentanyl and more than an ounce of methamphetamine were also found in the home on Pleasant Valley Road.

Sargent is facing a number of charges including drug trafficking and possession of heroin with the intent to distribute.

Meanwhile, at a different residence on Pleasant Valley Road, the execution of a search warrant turned up more than an ounce of fentanyl and a large quantity of meth.

39-year-old Bryce Allen Bowman and 55-year-old Steven Allen Jones are charged with trafficking drugs, possession of meth with the intent to distribute, and possession of controlled substances.

Bowman is also charged with conspiracy to commit a felony,

Meanwhile, 61-year-old Tammy Ann Bowman was charged with possession of meth.
