A Rome man was jailed Tuesday on a felony warrant charging him with terroristic threats and acts.

According to the warrant, 39-year-old Michael Ray Garrison texted his supervisor at Atrium health Floyd and stated she should leave the hospital because he planned to get gasoline and burn the place down.

He also threatened to “go postal” and shoot the place up.

The threats occurred on May 19, according to the warrant.
