FLOYD COUNTY JAIL RECORDS

A 71-year-old Douglasville man was arrested in Floyd County on Tuesday on charges of aggravated child molestation, obscene internet contact with a child, and use of a computer service to entice a child.

According to Floyd County Jail Records:

Kenneth Ray Kennedy engaged in online sexual conversations with someone he thought was under the age of 14 and requested that the child meet up at a location in Floyd County.

Police took Kennedy into custody at the arranged meet-up location.

Execution of search warrant leads to drug arrest

Rome-Floyd Metro Task Force officers arrested a 47-year-old Rome man at his home on Rockmart Road on drug trafficking charges.

According to Floyd County Jail Records:

Tykela Ravon Stubbs was taken into custody after the execution of a search warrant turned up drugs–some prepackaged, along with packaging materials, multiple firearms, glass smoking devices, and digital scales.

Stubs is charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of meth with the intent to distribute, trafficking meth, possession of cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, possession of over an ounce of marijuana, and possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute.

Man charged with conspiracy to violate controlled substances act

A Lithia Springs man was booked into the Floyd County Jail on Tuesday for charges related to a drug conspiracy.

According to Floyd County Jail Records:

47-year-old Dennis Scott Dutton conspired with others to deliver, transport, and sell more than 28 grams of Methamphetamine between Oct. 5 and Oct. 20.

Scott is charged with felony attempt or conspiracy to violate the Georgia controlled substances act and use of a communication facility in the commission of a felony involving controlled substances.
