A Rome man was jailed Tuesday on a felony count of 1st-degree burglary.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
50-year-old Earl Ballew entered an unoccupied house on Maple Avenue with the intent to commit a felony or theft.
Ballew is also charged with criminal trespass.
Report: Man had suspected Xanax at jail
A Cave Spring man is accused of having drugs while at the Floyd County Jail.
According to jail records:
31-year-old Zachary Seth Parker had four suspected Xanax tablets in a zip-lock bag concealed in an undergarment.
Parker is charged with possession of a Schedule IV Controlled substance, possession of drugs not in the original container, and possession of drugs past the guard line at the jail.
Woman arrested on Turner McCall for drugs
A 39-year-old Rome woman was arrested early Wednesday on drug charges.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
Taggine Lanit Anderson had suspected crack cocaine and marijuana in her purse.
Anderson is charged with possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance, and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.
