The Floyd County Commission is expected to vote on a contract for an employee wellness clinic when it meets Tuesday.
Floyd County, like the City of Rome, is expected to go with Atrium Health Floyd.
The City of Rome and Floyd County have been looking at other providers for the clinic after receiving notice late last year that AdventHealth Redmond was preparing to terminate the agreement.
Plans are for the wellness clinic will be located in what’s known as the 330 building, next to Floyd Medical Center, and the agreement is expected to go into effect on March 1.
Tuesday’s commission meeting will be held at the County Administration building on 4th Avenue.
The caucus starts at 4 p.m. with the regular meeting beginning at 6 p.m.
