A motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene following a three-vehicle wreck at the intersection of Turner McCall Boulevard and Riverside Parkway Tuesday evening.

According to the Georgia State Patrol:

A White Volkswagen SUV traveling east made a left turn from Turner McCall into the path of a Yamaha motorcycle.

Multiple witnesses stated the driver of the motorcycle was driving recklessly and at an excessive speed.

The motorcyclist has been identified as 30-year-old Mohammad Tahir of Cartersville.

The GSP’s Specialized Collision Reconstruction Team responded to the scene to assist with the investigation, which is ongoing.
