Woman charged in December armed robber in Cave Spring

A 30-year-old Gaylesville, Alabama woman has been arrested in connection with a robbery in Cave Spring that occurred back on Dec. 15.

According to the arrest warrant:

Kristin Lynn Foster set up a meeting with the victim at a location on Georgia Avenue.

The victim was then robbed by two armed men and Foster left the scene with the suspects.

She is charged with armed robbery and party to a crime.

Report: Man fired gun inside bar in 2017

A man accused of firing a gunshot at a Rome bar nearly six years ago was booked into the Floyd County Jail on Thursday.

According to the arrest warrants, 33-year-old Demetrius Marquis Hunter discharged the firearm inside the El Patron bar on Redmond Circle on May 4, 2017. The bar was crowded at the time, the warrant states.

Hunter is charged with the discharge of a firearm on the property of another, reckless conduct, disorderly conduct, possession of marijuana, a probation violation, and four counts of failure to appear in court.

Armuchee man facing drug charge

An Armuchee man is accused of giving police a false name in an attempt to avoid an arrest warrant for a probation violation.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

44-year-old Jason Jermaine Staples Sr. was also found in possession of suspected methamphetamine.

He is charged with giving false info, and possession of a controlled substance in addition to the probation violation.

Two jailed for drug possessiom

Rome-Floyd Metro Task Force officers arrested two women n drug charges at the former Skytop on Chateau drive.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

26-year-old Carlie Ann Quinn of Lindale and 32-year-old Summer Dae Hamilton of Watkinsville were found with suspected methamphetamine and a glass smoking device.

Hamilton was also found with suspected Xanax pills.
