According to the Georgia Forestry Commission, there is a high fire danger in our area on Wednesday.

A Red Flag Warning is in effect from noon until 8 p.m.

Due to low humidity and gusty winds, along with very dry fuels and ongoing drought conditions, any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.

They are asking the public not to do any outdoor burning if at all possible.
